- CD3e is a member of the Ig superfamily and primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. CD3 is composed of CD3e, d, g and z chains. CD3e forms a TCR complex by associating with the CD3d, g and z chains, as well as the TCR a/b or g/d chains. CD3 plays a critical role in TCR signal transduction, T cell activation, and antigen recognition by binding the peptide/MHC antigen complex. Applications: Suitable for use in Activation of T cells, Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-100 Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
