- Extra Details:
- NKG2D is a type II transmembrane protein with an extracellular C-type lectin domain. It occurs as a disulfide-linked homodimer that associates with either the DAP12 or DAP10 transmembrane adapter proteins. NKG2D is expressed on NK cells and some T cell subsets, where it functions as an activating receptor to trigger cytolytic activity and cytokine secretion. Ligands for human NKG2D include MICA, MICB, and ULBP-1, -2, -3, and -4. Mouse NKG2D ligands include H60, MULT-1, and Rae-1 alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100 Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
