Extra Details:: CD3 is a member of the Ig superfamily and primarily expressed on T cells, NK-T cells, and at different levels on thymocytes during T cell differentiation. CD3 is composed of CD3e, z, y and d chains. It forms a TCR complex by associating with TCR a/v or y/x chains. CD3 plays a critical role in TCR signal transduction, T cell activation, and antigen recognition by binding the peptide/MHC antigen complex. Recognizes e/y of CD3 complex. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:500 Immunohistochemistry: 1:100 Immunoprecipitation: 1:50-1:400 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
