- Extra Details:
- B7-DC is also called programmed death ligand 2 (PDL2). It has recently been clustered as CD273. This ligand is a 42kD member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily expressed on a subset of dendritic cells, liver and a small subset of macrophages as well as a few transformed cell lines. B7-DC (CD273) has been reported to be stimulatory on dendritic cells when cross-linked and to inhibit T cell activation upon engaging the PD-1 receptor. B7-DC (CD273) has also been reported to bind to an alternative receptor and to mediate T cell activation through such non-PD1 mediated interactions. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, and Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: <0.002EU/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
