- CD11c is a 150kD glycoprotein, also known as alpha X integrin, CR4, or p150. CD11c forms a aXb2 heterodimer with b2 integrin (CD18). It is primarily expressed on dendritic cells, NK cells, a subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes (IEL), and some activated T cells. The aXb2 integrin plays an important role in cell-cell contact by binding its ligands, iC3b, fibrinogen, and CD54. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:1000 Immunohistochemistry(Paraffin): 1:25-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
