Extra Details:: CCR2, a Chemokine Receptor, is a regulator of monocyte/macrophage trafficking and is upregulated in response to inflammation. Resistance to HIV-1 infection or delayed progression to AIDS may be linked to CCR2 polymorphisms. The ligand for CCR2 is monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP-1), a chemokine produced by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-800 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
