Extra Details:: Human Methionine enkephalin (Met-Enkephalin) is a small 5 amino acid peptide cleaved from the precursor pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC). Met-Enkephalin is an endogenous opioid peptide that interacts with opioid receptors and produces analgesic effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunofluorescence (IC): 5-15ug/ml Immunohistochemistry : 5-10ug/ml. using formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues, 4% paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
