Extra Details:: Leu-Enkephalin is cleaved from the precursor Proenkephalin-A. Leu-Enkephalin is an endogenous opioid peptide that interacts with opioid receptors and produces analgesic effects. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence/Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunocytochemistry (IF): 5-15ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 5-10ug/ml. (formalin fixed/paraffin embedded tissues or 4% paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissues) Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
