- Extra Details:
- Alkaline phosphatase is a hydrolase enzyme responsible for removing phosphate groups from many types of molecules including nucleotides, proteins and alkaloids. There are four distinct groups of alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like and tissue non-specific. The tissue non-specific form is a membrane bound glycosylated protein that is not expressed in any particular tissue. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 0.5-1ug/ml. Antigen retrieval is required Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
