Extra Details:: Murine vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a homodimeric protein, where each subunit is 165 amino acids in length. Expressed by various vascularized tissues and is reported to stimulate endothelial cell growth and angiogenesis. Recombinant mouse VEGF 165 is a 39kD disulfide-linked homodimeric protein consisting of two 165 amino acid polypeptide chains. Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse VEGF expressed in E. coli. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
