- MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. The clone is reported to react with an epitope which is common to both BoLA DR and DQ (Howard et al.1997). Expression of MHC II molecules have been demonstrated on bovine B cells, activated T cells, alveolar macrophages, monocytes and mammary and bronchial epithelial cells. The clone is reported to inhibit T cell proliferation following FMDV infection. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:10. 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
