- MaxLight™550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150,000. Recognizes Chicken MHC Class I expressed on the majority of nucleated cells. Chicken MHC Class molecules (B-F and B-L molecules) are highly conserved, with tissue distribution, structure and functions being similar to their mammalian counterparts. Avian MHC Class I molecules, known also as B-F antigens, consist of a glycosylated polymorphic transmembrane achain noncovalently bound to the invariant b2microglobulin subunit. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
