Extra Details:: C-type lectin domain family 1 member B, also known as CLEC2 or CLEC1B. CLEC2 acts as a receptor for rhodocytin, a platelet-aggregating protein found in snake venom. CLEC2 expression is not restricted to platelets and also acts as an activation receptor on neutrophils. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Y3 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
