- Recognizes the human CD45 cell surface antigen, also known as the leucocyte common antigen (LCA). CD45 is a complex molecule existing in a number of isoforms. Antibodies recognizing a common epitope on all of these isoforms are termed CD45 whilst those recognizing only individual isoforms are termed CD45RA or CD45RO etc. Reacts with all forms of CD45 expressed by all hematopoietic cells, except erythrocytes, having a higher level of expression on lymphocytes than on granulocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Tested in Flow Cytometry on human peripheral blood leucocytes. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at 4°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE/Cy5.5 conjugates are sensitive to light.
