Extra Details:: Recognizes an epitope encoded by exon v6 on the variant portion of human CD44. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:200 Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:400-1:500 Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1:200. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate, pH 6.0 is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
