- Extra Details:
- CD40 cell surface antigen is expressed by B lymphocytes and a subset of T lymphocytes. CD40 plays an important role in the differentiation of B lymphocytes into effector cells, and is also involved in interactions between T and B lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Functional Assays. Other applications have not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200. 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells in 100ul Functional Assays: Sodium azide removal is recommended Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
