- Human CD34 exists as two isoforms, the full length form described here and a truncated isoform lacking the carboxy-terminal of the intracellular domain and containing some alternative sequence in the remaining intracellular region. Binding epitopes on human CD34 have been classified according to their resistance to enzymatic degradation and grouped together using this and competitive binding assays (Lanza et al. 1999). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NSO myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
