- Extra Details:
- Studies have shown that the cross-linking of CD300a on NK results in a down-regulation of their cytolytic activity, whilst cross-linking of CD300a on mast cells, inhibits IgE-induced degranulation and SCF-mediated survival. Furthermore, cross-linking of CD300a on the surface of eosinophils has been shown to significantly inhibit their survival, chemotaxis and activation in response to certain inflammatory cytokines, whilst eosinophil-derived MBP (major basic protein) and EDN (neurotoxin), can down-regulate CD300a expression on mast cells in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: Neat 1:10 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: P3U1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
