Extra Details:: Studies have shown that the cross-linking of CD300a on NK results in a down-regulation of their cytolytic activity, whilst cross-linking of CD300a on mast cells, inhibits IgE-induced degranulation and SCF-mediated survival. Furthermore, cross-linking of CD300a on the surface of eosinophils has been shown to significantly inhibit their survival, chemotaxis and activation in response to certain inflammatory cytokines, whilst eosinophil-derived MBP (major basic protein) and EDN (neurotoxin), can down-regulate CD300a expression on mast cells in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
