- Studies have shown that the cross-linking of CD300a on NK results in a down-regulation of their cytolytic activity, whilst cross-linking of CD300a on mast cells, inhibits IgE-induced degranulation and SCF-mediated survival. Furthermore, cross-linking of CD300a on the surface of eosinophils has been shown to significantly inhibit their survival, chemotaxis and activation in response to certain inflammatory cytokines, whilst eosinophil-derived MBP (major basic protein) and EDN (neurotoxin), can down-regulate CD300a expression on mast cells in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
