- Extra Details:
- The chicken homologue of mammalian CD28, demonstrating 50% sequence identity and conservation of key functional sequence. In chickens CD28 is expressed by all thymocytes and T cells excluding most of those that are gamma/delta TCR positive (Koskela et al. 1998). The co-stimulatory role of CD28 is important to T cell function in chickens (Arstila et al. 1994). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
