Extra Details:: Bovine CD21 cell surface, a145kD single pass type I membrane glycoprotein containing multiple sushi domains. CD21 is also known as complement receptor type 2. In cattle CD21 expression is restricted to B lymphocytes (Naessens et al. 1990). CD21 may be expressed on B cells as either a long or a short form (Pringle et al. 2012) Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
