Extra Details:: CD152, commonly known as CTLA-4 (cytotoxic T-lymphocyte protein 4), a structural homolog for CD28. CD152 binds the same ligands as CD28, namely CD80 (B7.1) and CD86 (B7.2), but with much higher affinity. However, while binding of CD28 enhances T cell function, binding of CD152 inhibits it. CD152 is not detected on naïve Tcells and is induced upon Tcell activation. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:100, use 10ul to label 1x10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
