Extra Details:: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure and integrity and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells. Six different isoforms of actin have been identified in mammals. (Vandekerckhove et al. 1978). Mouse anti Human actin beta, has been used to look at the remodeling of the actin cytoskeleton following sendai virus infection and the specific role of the viral M protein in actin remodelling (Miazza et al. 2011) Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry, Western Blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:50-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
