Molecular Weight: ~66kD Specific Activity: 1400 pmol/min/ug Assay Condition: Enzyme reaction is conducted in a buffer containing 50mM HEPES (pH 7.5), 10mM MgCl2, 1mM EGTA, 200uM ATP, 0.01% Brij-35, 2uM substrate (Tyr Peptide 5, Z-lyte kinase assay kit from Invitrogen), and enzyme at 37°C for 1 hr. Application: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
