Molecular Weight: ~69kD Specific Activity: 150 pmol/min/ug Assay Conditions: Assay was performed in a kinase buffer containing 0.1mg/ml inactive MEK1 substrate and 10uM ATP. Reaction was done at 30°C for 30 minutes. ATP transferred was calculated using Kinase-Glo® (Promega). Application: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
