- Extra Details:
- TNIK is a MSN protein kinase that interacts with both TNF receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2) and the adapter protein NCK. The protein has been shown to activate the c-Jun N-terminal kinase pathway when overexpressed in Phoenix-A cells, and this activation is mediated solely by the C-terminal germinal center kinase homology region. TNIK has been shown to phosphorylate gelsolin, the principal intracellular and extracellular actin-severing protein, in vitro. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
