Extra Details:: TAAR6 is classified as an Orphan-A GPCR because the ligand has not been identified. TAAR6 was identified by degenerate PCR because of its similarity to other trace amine receptors. The close proximity on chromosome 6 and high sequence homology to the other trace amine receptors suggest that TAAR6 is likely to bind a related or unidentified amine. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3-7ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
