Extra Details:: Solute Carrier Family 7, Member 2, (SLC7A2) also known as Cationic Amino Acid Transporter 2 (hCAT2)mediates the transport of the cationic amino acids arginine, lysine and ornithine and is a member of the APC family of transporters. The transport characteristics of hCAT2 are consistent with those of the y+ system which is involved in susceptibility to murine ecotropic retroviruses. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
