Extra Details:: Germ cell nuclear factor (GCNF), a NR6 Germ Cell Nuclear Factor-Like Receptor, has been shown to affect gene expression in embryogenesis and spermatogenesis and is essential for embryonic survival and normal development. Loss of GCNF causes embryonic lethality and disrupts normal somitogenesis as well as neural-tube and axis formation. GCNF binds as a homodimer to the DR0 DNA response element and has been shown to regulate transcription of genes including protamines1 and 2 and Oct4. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
