Extra Details:: BAI2 is an Orphan-B GPCR with an unknown ligand. Decreased BAI2 expression is correlated with the formation of new blood vessels in a murine ischemic model. Along with BAI2, there are two other brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor genes, designated BAI1 and BAI3, which have similar tissue specificities and structures. Alternative splice forms of BAI2 are differentially regulated during development. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 14-21ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
