Extra Details:: The anti-periviscerokinin serum was raised against the Periplaneta americana periviscerokinin-1 (Predel et.al. 1995), GASGLIPVMRNamide (PVK-1), coupled to bovine thyroglobulin using glutaraldehyde. PVK-1 is one of 24 different neuropeptides of the FMR Famide gene (Predel et.al. 2004). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
