Extra Details:: Bombesin is an amphibian peptide and the mammalian counterpart is referred to as Gastrin Releasing Peptide (GRP). Bombesin/GRP is widely distributed in the brain and in peripheral nerves (particularly numerous in the gut). It can also be detected in a variety of neuroendocrine cells. Furthermore, bombesin/GRP occurs frequently in neuroendocrine tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:400-1:800 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
