MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. MAb MTC02 recognizes a 60kDa antigen associated with the mitochondria in human cells. It is a part of a new panel of reagents, which recognizes subcellular organelles or compartments of human cells. These markers may be useful in identification of these organelles in cells, tissues, and biochemical preparations. MAb MTC02 recognizes an antigen associated with the mitochondria in human cells only. It can be used to stain the mitochondria in cell or tissue preparations and can be used as a mitochondrial marker in subcellular fractions. It produces a spaghetti-like pattern in normal and malignant cells and may be used to stain mitochondria of cells in fixed or frozen tissue sections. It can also be used with paraformaldehyde fixed frozen tissue or cell preparations. MAb MTC02 is an excellent marker for human cells in xenographic model research. It reacts specifically with human cells, including neurons and embryonic stem cells. Applications:  Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug/ml Western Blot: 0.25-0.5ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1ug/500ug protein lysate Immunohistochemistry: Frozen & Formalin-fixed: 0.5-1ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is enhanced by boiling tissue sections in 1mM EDTA Buffer, pH 8.5-9.5, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HeLa or HepG2 cells. Hepatic carcinoma. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light.
