- Extra Details:
- Monoclonal antibodies (MAb’s) to liver cell processes are useful in the identification of hepatic carcinomas and normal organ structures. MAb HSA98 binds to human hepatocytes and the majority of human hepatocellular ¬carcinomas (HCC’s). In frozen sections, it stains hepatic cells and may be used as a marker of the liver. Cell preparations of hepatocellular carcinoma biopsies or cell lines are found to bind HSA98 on the cell surface. This MAb stains liver hepatocytes in frozen human liver sections and is positive on the cell surface of human liver carcinomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1.0ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: Acetone-fixed cells: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT Immunohistochemistry: Frozen: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Normal liver or hepatocellular carcinoma: HCC Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
