- Monoclonal antibodies (MAb’s) to liver cell processes are useful in the identification of hepatic carcinomas and normal organ structures. MAb HSA98 binds to human hepatocytes and the majority of human hepatocellular ¬carcinomas (HCC’s). In frozen sections, it stains hepatic cells and may be used as a marker of the liver. Cell preparations of hepatocellular carcinoma biopsies or cell lines are found to bind HSA98 on the cell surface. This MAb stains liver hepatocytes in frozen human liver sections and is positive on the cell surface of human liver carcinomas. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1.0ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: Acetone-fixed cells: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT Immunohistochemistry: Frozen: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Normal liver or hepatocellular carcinoma: HCC Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
