Extra Details:
Recognizes the D1 domain of an N-glycosylated glycoprotein of 120kDa with intra-chain disulfide bonds, identified as CD50 or ICAM-3 (Leucocyte Workshop VI). CD50 is the major ligand for LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and may have signaling role to increase adhesion. It is expressed on thymocytes and T lymphocytes and is resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol (PI) phospholipase C. This MAb is excellent for staining of formalin/paraffin tissues. Applications:  Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/million cells  Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml  Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1ug/500ug protein lysate Immunohistochemistry: Frozen & Formalin-fixed: 0.5-1ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT (Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: HL-60 or THP-1 cells. Lymph node and tonsil Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
