Extra Details:: Recognizes a protein of 180kDa, identified as CD11a (Leucocyte Workshop II; Code N202). CD11a complex with the a2 subunit of the integrin family, CD18, to form the cell surface heterodimer, LFA-1 or CD11a /C18 (aLbL). LFA-1 is expressed on all leukocytes including lymphocytes, monocytes, and granulocytes. It is involved in leukocyte adhesion to its ligands including intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1 or CD54), ICAM-2 (CD102), ICAM-3 (CD50) and Telencephalin (TLN) and play a role in most immune/inflammatory responses. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Functional Studies. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/million cells Immunofluorescence: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunoprecipitation: 0.5-1ug/500ug protein lysate Immunohistochemistry: Frozen: 0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: JY, HUT-78, MOLT-4, HL60, U937, and human leukocytes. Human lymph nodes and tonsils. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. APC is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
