- Extra Details:
- ELG1 (also known as ATP(GTP)-binding protein or chromosome fragility associated gene 1) is involved in a novel RFC complex that is probably involved in DNA damage and repair by ensuring replication fidelity. This detects a band at about 120kD in Hela, A431, Jurkat and HEK193 cells. This corresponds to the band size seen in Kanellis P et al. It remains unclear why the band size detected is much less than the 207kD predicted in the protein sequence corresponding to CACC44537.2 (Q96QE3), but as our results correspond to those seen in Kanellis P et al. it is likely that the 120kD target is ELG1. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:3000-1:15,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
