Extra Details:
In vertebrates 3 main groups of actin isoforms, A, B and G have been identified. The A-actins are found in muscle tissues and are a major constituent of the contractile apparatus. The B and G-actins coexist in most cell types as components of the cyto-skeleton and as mediators of internal cell motility. B-actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure and integrity. B-actins are cytoplasmic proteins. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:20,000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:2500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O or PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
