Extra Details:: The ectoderm-neural cortex-2 (ENC-2) protein a member of the BTB/PDZ Kelch protein family displaying significant homology to ENC-1, an actin-binding protein involved in neural fate specification during embryogenesis and adipocyte maturation. The exact function of ENC-2 has yet to be determined, but it has been suggested to be involved in the differentiation of neuronal precursor cells into neurons and astrocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Jurkat Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
