Extra Details:: The Rhomboid family of proteins is made up of several widely conserved polytopic membrane serine proteases that play roles in growth and development. Little is known about the role of RHBDD2. Its overexpression in breast carcinoma appears to be an indicator of poor prognosis and may play a role in breast cancer progression. The related proteins RHBDD1 and RHBDD3 are both involved in the regulation of apoptosis, suggesting that RHBDD2 may also be involved in the modulation of apoptotic activity. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Rat Lung Tissue Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
