Extra Details:: The FERM and PDZ domain containing (FRMPD) protein family consists of four proteins that contain a FERM (Four-point-one, erzin, radixin, moesin) domain and at least one PDZ (PSD-95/Discs large/Zonula-occuldens-1) domain. Unlike other members of the FRMPD family, FRMPD3 has no known function. It is most similar to FRMPD4, which is highly expressed in multiple regions of the brain and enriched in the postsynaptic density (PSD) fractions, it is possible that FRMPD3 also interacts with other PDZ domain-containing proteins in neural cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Jurkat Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
