Extra Details:: ZBTB1 is a zinc finger protein that also contains BTB (BR-C, ttk and bab) domain. While little is known about this protein or the related protein ZBTB2, its expression is known to be down-regulated in human bronchial epithelial cells in response to the presence of Vanadium. Recently, expression of variant ZBTB1 protein has been associated with increased age-related macular degeneration. At least two isoforms of ZBTB1 are known to exist. This ZBTB1 antibody will not cross-react with ZBTB2. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human spleen Cell Lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
