Extra Details:: LEDGF, also known as transcription coactivator p75, is a 75kD protein that belongs to the hepatomaderived growth factor (HDGF) family of nuclear targeted proteins. It is a widely expressed protein that interacts with lentiviral integrase. As a result of alternative splicing, isoforms with deletions, substitutions/insertions have been reported. Human LEDGF shares 91%, 92% and 96% amino acid sequence homology with rat, mouse and feline LEDGF, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunocytochemistry: 8-25ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
