- CD97 is a member of the LNBTM7 protein family, which is a subfamily of the G protein-coupled receptor 2 family. Three isoforms of CD97 are produced by alternative splicing in mouse. Cells known to express CD97 include monocytes, macrophages, T cells, select B cells, dendritic cells, and potentially vascular and visceral smooth muscle cells. CD97 is also differentially expressed on murine hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. It has been demonstrated that CD97 is required for neutrophil migration and host defense. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 5ul, 1x10e6 cells Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c rats. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
