- Extra Details:
- Wingless-type MMIV integration site family, member4, is a secreted protein that in humans is encoded by the Wnt4 gene. By fluorescence in situ hybridization, WNT4 gene was mapped to chromosome 1p35, a location consistent with the results of radiation hybrid mapping. The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and embryogenesis. UniProt Number: P56705 Gene ID: WNT4 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
