- Extra Details:
- STAT4 is a human gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the STAT protein family of transcription factors. STAT4 is mapped to chromosome 2q32.2-q32.3 by fluorescence in situ hybridization. STAT4 is phosphorylated in response to interleukin-12 and is essential for IL12 signal transduction. Transactivation, electrophoretic mobility shift, and RNA interference analyses showed that Ikaros bound to the STAT4 promoter and was involved in regulation of STAT4 in human T cells. UniProt Number: Q14765 Gene ID: STAT4 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
