- SF1 (splicing factor 1), also known as zinc finger protein 162 (ZFM162), ZNF162, Transcription factor ZFM1,ZFM1, D11S636, Mammalian branch point-binding protein(BBP, mBBP), Zinc finger gene in MEN1 locus, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SF1 gene. It is predicted 623-amino acid protein. RT-PCR was used to show expression in the thyroid gland, pancreas, adrenal gland, and ovary. All of the ZNF162 isoforms contain a KH domain, a sequence motif present in proteins playinig a major role in regulating cellular RNA metabolism. UniProt Number: Q15637 Gene ID: SF1 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Frozen), and Immunocytochemistry. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
