- NPM2 (Nucleophosmin/Nucleoplasmin Family Member 2), Burns et al. (2003) mapped the mouse Npm2 gene to chromosome 14. Burns et al. (2003) found that female Npm2-null mice showed defects in preimplantation embryo development, with abnormalities in oocyte and early embryonic nuclei. UniProt Number: Q86SE8 Gene ID: NPM2 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
